If you’ve ever attended the Florida Film Festival (FFF) you can’t deny it’s a pretty powerful event. Now entering into its 31st year, it welcomes folks from all over the country and even from different countries. Not to mention some very, very famous faces! Entries for the 2022 festival–taking place April 8-17–are now being accepted. So if you know any creative storytellersβ¦pass it on.
Qualified filmmakers can submit their entries HERE through November 26, 2021. The categories include short films, documentaries, narrative features, and international films. Awards are then determined by a jury of film professionals and by audience ballot.
The Florida Film Festival is the only festival in the state that is accredited as a qualifying festival for the Oscars in all three short film categories; Live-Action, Animation, and Documentary, with the winner of the Grand Jury Award in each category, automatically qualifying to enter the following yearβs Academy Awards.
