Popular EDC Festival Announces 2021 Dates for Orlando

Seems like things might be on the brink of getting somewhat “back to normal” amidst the coronavirus pandemic. For example, we recently learned (thanks Bungalower and The Jim Colbert Show) The Electric Daisy Carnival Orlando will return to Tinker Field this winter, from November 12-14. The festival was canceled this past year, which undoubtedly left a boatload of cash on the table (the festival reportedly brought $50 million in revenue for the City of Orlando in 2019).

If you’re even remotely familiar with EDC or have even been, you know it’s a gigantic event drawing hundreds of thousands of attendees, and the music can often be heard miles and miles away from the event site.

The lineup has yet to be released and there’s no word on how the event planners intend to handle safety precautions around COVID-19 (there is a general Health & Wellness guide on their website), but certainly there will be the appropriate measures in place.

Now we don’t know about you but we are certainly ready to get back to a place of enjoying any kind of live music…and boogying our booties off. What do you think? Do you plan on attending EDC this year?

What are your thoughts on this topic?
