Dog Parks in Central Florida
“When the dog looks at you, the dog is not thinking what kind of a person you are. The dog is not judging you.” – Eckhart Tolle
Gotta pooch? And we’re referring to the four-legged kind here, folks.
We see so many people out with their furry friends when out and about in the city. Particularly now more than ever. Being fairly new dog owners ourselves, we were wondering what some of your favorite dog parks around the Central Florida area are, and why. We know there are more than a handful to choose from.
Some we’ve been familiar with for some time are:
- Barber Dog Park
- ConstitutionGreen
- Greenwood Urban Wetlands
- Lake Baldwin Park
- Lake Druid Park Dog Run
And in taking paws to do a little research on the matter we also learned about these:
- Arbor Dog Park in Longwood
- Downey Dog Park
- Dr. P Phillips Community Park
- Hound Ground in Winter Springs
- Park of the Americas
- Paw Park of Historic Sanford
Where do you like to take your dog–or even stay away from, perhaps–for a stroll and frolic? Can’t wait to hear from you all about your recommendations and favorite places to hang with your dogs.
