“Wie geht es Ihnen.”
Guys, Backhaus German Bakery & Deli is a little gem located on Ivanhoe Village (sometimes referred to as Ivanhoe Row) just next to YAY! If you’re ever in the area or driving by for any reason you’ve probably noticed it. I’ve been in a couple of times when previously inhabited by another business, but this was the first time visiting Backhaus.
This place is tiny, charming, and pretty much everything you’d expect both from a bakery and deli located in this part of town and a store this size. Once entering through the front door guests are presented with one large room showcasing all of the products.
Once inside it’s almost guaranteed you’ll want to just spend a few minutes “window shopping.”
So I spent some time browsing around the store while I was there and then wanted to take a little more time browsing around the Backhaus website once I got home. Here’s what I gleaned from doing so: Backhaus specializes in a few key areas.
“Besides our specialty German breads, Bavarian Pretzels, outstanding Pastries and Cakes, we offer Schnitzel, authentic German Potato Salad, Gourmet Chicken Salad and many other delectable Sandwich items.” – The-Backhaus.com
Drooling yet? Just go ahead and treat yourself sometime soon….
And if you’re ever looking for unique ideas for upcoming holidays you should check out the “Holidays” section of the Backhaus website. It’s definitely something different to share with family, friends, or other loved ones
