Inspirational Murals Add Some New Color to Downtown Orlando Scene

We follow @dwntwn_orlando on Instagram and caught one of their posts last week about some new murals that’d recently been completed on the Orange County Administrative Building‘s garage on the south side of downtown – essentially across the street from First United Methodist Church. Well, we’re kinda obsessed with all of the amazing artwork popping up all over the city as of late so we had to head and out see these things for ourselves. Check it out:

These pieces in particular were done by artists Michael Pilato and Yuriy Karabash, as listed on downtown Orlando’s post. A couple of the things we love the most about these murals are the representation through nature of Central Florida (we often forget about all of the amazing natural beauty at our fingertips), and the depth created by the painting approach (like you can just peel away the surface of the building and experience another world).

What are your thoughts on them? Have you ventured out, or by chance, seen them in person? What other scenarios would you add?
