Christmas & Holiday Decorations in Orlando

The holidays are, without a doubt, here in full force, folks. Everywhere you turn there are lights, decorations, music, and Salvation Army bells ringing. “Old” iconic decorations we love around the city, and new ones popping up, too.

I remember when I was younger my parents used to scoop me up and we’d all pile into the car, and drive around nearby neighborhoods to check out the lights and decorated houses. Some were definitely more creative than others; some with different taste than ours. But, hey – spirit is spirit, in my opinion! We here in Central Florida are so lucky to have so many options for magnificent Christmas and holiday decorations, aren’t we? Whether it’s theme parks, high-end malls, wealthy neighborhoods, or just our really super creative neighbors, we can eat up the holiday spirit at every turn.

So…the question is, where’s your favorite place to check out the sights and sounds of the season? What makes you jump for joy about the season? Share in the comments below!

Sorry, maybe I missed it, but did you share the address to the local places/homes to watch lights and sounds of the season?

Hi, Marilyn, and thanks for stopping by! We did not share any information about local places/homes to catch holiday decorations (although we did post a couple of pics we captured while out-and-about in the area). We kinda wanted to hear about where our readers and Fans enjoy going.

That being said, there is a brand new “hub” put together this year by Orange County by way of crowdsourcing its residents where light displays of homes, businesses, and neighborhoods can be found. Here’s a link: http://www.ocpafl.org/PressRoom/HolidayPromo.aspx.

What are your thoughts?
