Y’all knows I love me some Mexican food. I’m still on the hunt to find the very best place in this city (at the top of the list right now is Agave Azule, as I’ve talked about before). And I’ve been to Paco’s Mexican Food several times.
I’ll go ahead and admit it: Paco’s is a little intimidating. From the outside, driving past it on Fairbanks Avenue near I-4, it appears a little sketchy. And granted, it is a whole in the wall.
If you can get past this–coupled with the fact that it’s not the most modern place indoors–then you’ll find some pretty good Mexican food here in Central Florida. So let’s take a look, shall we?
Appetizers
Each table comes with complimentary chips & salsa. No big shocker here. And the chips are really good – particularly when they’re hot. My dining mate ordered these jalapeno poppers and said they were quite tasty. I passed on these puppies.
Main Dish
Noms, noms, noms. Let’s get to the main part!
Sorry nothing really innovative, or different about any of the dishes here. Pretty standard, but definitely yums! And reasonably priced as well.
Inside
Here’s a little peek of what you can expect to see inside Paco’s, behind the front door.
Like? Here’s a little tip for you, should you decide to try Paco’s out: Check-in on Foursquare, show your server, and you can get up to two (2) beers for $.30. Yes – that’s thirty cents!

Oh, and like so many of our favorite places in Central Florida, you can find Paco’s on Facebook and Twitter. If you’ve ever been we’d love to hear about your experience.
