Festival Calle Orange in 10th Year

CalleOrangeEver heard of The Festival Calle Orange? If not you haven’t been paying very close attention to events happening in the Central Florida area.

Over 40 Latin artists are scheduled to perform in downtown Orlando today. This along with lots of [what’s sure to be] delicious food and fun games. News organizations report an anticipated 100,000 to attend. Whew, that’s alot of folks!

Admission tickets for the Festival Calle Orange are $10.00 per person. Kids 10 and under get in with no charge. Unfortunately I can’t seem to locate any information about where to actually purchase tickets….

Live or going to be in the downtown Orlando area today? You should expect there to be immense traffic, along with some closures on the main strip, Orange Avenue.

If you’re planning on going but are a little concerned about parking, Amway Arena is offering free parking for the duration of the event. You can also hop on the LYMMO for free.

@Rick Yeah, I’ve seen no media coverage of this. Just happened to stumble upon in on OrlandoSentinel.com this morning (and it wasn’t even a featured story).

Eventually they will figure out that events like this should be announced in advance, not the day of the event.
