Today, millions–maybe billions–of people around the World watched as tribute was paid to the King of Pop.
I know there are probably only a handful of people who are not sick of the coverage Michael Jackson‘s death has received, so this will be the only post on the topic on Pulse.
Having been a lifelong fan of Michael Jackson, I, like most, was saddened by the news of his passing and felt compelled to watch at least some of today’s coverage.
But, today, not only do I feel happy to have experienced a childhood full of memories of Jackson’s music, but I felt extremely proud to be a fan of my favorite musician, John Mayer.
Mayer’s understated, guitar-only performance of “Human Nature” solidified why I can only hope to continue to build the music memories through adulthood that Jackson helped create in childhood.
