“Talk about a walk down memory lane.” I was cruising through downtown Orlando last week to grab some lunch, and passed a club I walk by all the time: Tabu. I normally don’t pay it much attention–except when the front doors are open and the stinch of days-old-beer flows onto the street–but today was a little different. Why? Those of you who are younger might not get this, but my generation totally will:
Now, I’ve only been to Tabu once and I can assure it you was not of my own free will. However, I’m more than willing to go on the 15th of this month to see the reunited Exposé. I’m interested in seeing the band and hearing the music, of course, but I also really want to see what sort of crowds this event brings out!
Don’t remember Exposé? This might jog your memory:
And you have to admit, these women still look dang good! One of the things that amuses me about this whole “appearance,” though, is that while a “dress code is strictly enforced” (not sure what that this), the cover is only $5. Should be intriguing.
80’s music has such a strong correlation to memory for me, so I’m looking forward to this walk down memory lane. How about you?
Interested in going but not quite sure where Tabu is located?
