Gibson GuitarTown: Music about downtown Orlando

If you’ve been anywhere in the downtown Orlando area the past couple of weeks you might’ve noticed some new additions “strumming” down the streets. (Yes, it’s a bad pun.) A series of 36 large-scale guitars have been erected as part of a new charity project with the CityArts Factory. If you want to learn more about what the project is, and how the City of Orlando has gotten involved you can click here.

I caught several of these 10-foot guitars and wanted to share them:

One lucky Brevard County blogger even had the opportunity to be one of the artists involved with this project. Click here to read about his experience.

@java john Hey…you’re welcome, man! Awesome job on the guitar you painted. I’ve actually enjoyed seeing these around the downtown area.
