Vote, Baby, Vote!

“Vote, baby, vote! Are you registered, baby?”

Seven of the most important words you’ll hear this weekend. Why this weekend? Because Monday, October 6th (that’s two days from now, Central Florida!) is the deadline to register and/or make changes to any voter information.

Have you gotten married since the last election?
Divorced?
Moved?
Decided to change your name to Princess Consuela Bananahammock?

IT’S NOT TOO LATE! I should know — I’ve changed residences since 2004, and yesterday I was able to change my address over the phone. It was that easy, and now I’m all squared away to cast my votes in next month’s election. (I’ll be voting at the Westminster Towers downtown, so if you see me say hi!)

Please, please, PLEASE make sure you vote in November. No matter who you plan on voting for. It’s so important, now more than ever, and we Central Floridians have no excuse not to take part. You can find any and all information regarding voting on the Florida Division of Elections site. Or if you have a trusted local news source, check on their website and see what they have listed.

Vote, baby, vote! After all, if Lady Kier is doing it, it must be the cool thing to do….

  1. This is definitely one of my favorite posts ever! Not only are you talking about the importance of voting but you mention Lady Kier and Princess Bananahammock in the same post. Wow!
