You never know what a trip to the neighborhood grocery might bring. Recently, I was finishing-up a weekly replenishment of food shopping when I saw this “sweet ride” in the parking lot of the Albertson’s on the corner of Orange Avenue and Michigan Avenue:
I can’t decide if it’s really rad, or really sad. What do you think?
Okay, I LOVE the color. The wheels are a nice touch. Eath to their own, i guesses.
Definitely different which is a good thing and love the cover for the brake dust.
@Michelle Yeah, I’m definitely feelin’ ya here. I just thought it was too good not to take a picture though. Perfect for our “Out and About” feature.
Definitely not digging the color. The car looks like one of those old undercover cop models, too. I’d have to give an A for effort but D for execution.
And I shop Albertson’s – just the sale items though.
@Tim Thanks for the chuckle.
My eyes just threw up a little.
@Colleen Ha ha ha! Yeah, over 65 is not really the “target audience” I was going for, but I see where you’re coming from.
@Marisa Dang! You totally should’ve gotten a picture of that sucker.
@Taylor I know, I know. There’s actually a Publix right next door, too, but always fewer people shopping at the Albertson’s. Going to the grocery is my least favorite thing in the world–always has been–so the less painful the experience the better!
Yuck, does anyone still shop at Albertson’s
That doesn’t really appeal to me. I did see a sweet Le Mans earlier today – I think a 73, maybe? – that had me drooling. I love muscle cars.
One vote for sad. That color is god awful…and sheesh, it’s a Ford, but the kind someone over 65 drives.
