Food, wine & music…oh my!

EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival

It’s still a ways off, but one of my most favorite things of the entire year is the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. Drinking around the world, delicious food samples, and, of course, the glory that is EPCOT (my personal favorite Disney park). What could make for a better time?

The entertainment isn’t typically high on the priority list of things to do, but this year it looks like some pretty interesting music will be featured at the festival. Can you guess which two acts I’m stoked to see? Well, I’m going to give it away: En Vogue and Exposé. Talk about blasts from the past! Along with these hot girl groups, here’s the current line-up of entertainment courtesy of sister Central Florida blog Orlando Attractions Magazine:

Sept. 26-27:  Big Bad Voodoo Daddy (new) “You & Me & The Bottle Makes 3 Tonight (Baby)”
Sept. 28-30:  Sheena Easton “Morning Train (Nine to Five)”
Oct. 1-4:  Starship starring Mickey Thomas “We Built This City”
Oct. 5-7:  En Vogue (new) “Hold On”
Oct. 8-9:  Jonny Lang (new) “Lie to Me”
Oct. 10-12:  Peabo Bryson (new) “If Ever You’re in My Arms Again”
Oct. 13-14:  Sister Hazel (new) “All for You”
Oct. 15-16:  David Sanborn “Lesley Ann”
Oct. 17-18:  Jon Secada “Just Another Day”
Oct. 19-21:  Spyro Gyra (new) “Morning Dance”
Oct. 22-23:  Otis Day & the Knights “Shout”
Oct. 24-26:  Exposé “Point of No Return”
Oct. 27-28:  Kool & The Gang “Celebration”
Oct. 29-30:  Boyz II Men (new) “End of the Road”
Oct. 31-Nov. 2:  Atlanta Rhythm Section (new) “So Into You”
Nov. 3-5:  David Cassidy “I Think I Love You”
Nov. 6-7:  Night Ranger (new) “Sister Christian”
Nov. 8-9:  Los Lobos (new) “La Bamba”

Disclaimer, disclaimer, disclaimer: Remember the old disclaimer we hear so often living in Orlando, “times and entertainment subject to change.” So if you plan on making the trek all the way out to EPCOT make sure ahead of time that you verify your favorite act will actually be there!

Awesome! When do you plan on coming? I usually go sometime during the month of September, because all of the tourists have gone home and the weather has cooled off a bit.
