An extreme sportist I am not. In fact, a sportist I am not. Even moreso, I’m not an extremist. However, a shopper I am. Well, the best that my wallet will allow me to be these days. So it happened that the two worlds–shopping and extreme sportist–collided today while I was visiting Orlando’s Florida Mall…in the shape of Adrenalina.
Adrenalina is a self-proclaimed “extreme store” — clothes, merchandise, and accessories for those who enjoy extreme sports like surfing, biking, skating, and more. But what really caught my attention was the flowrider — an actual, functional wave machine in the middle of the retail store. Crazy, huh?!?! This is reason enough to make a trip to the typically busy shopping mall. And if you’re brave enough, you can even try the flowrider yourself…for a mere $20 [for 30 minutes].
Here’s a little sample of what you can find at Adrenalina:
If you want to find out more about this unique store, and their flowrider, I recommend visiting their website or checking-out their MySpace profile at http://www.myspace.com/adrenalinastore.
Adrenalina certainly sets themselves apart from other retail experiences.

OK…if you are seriously going to do this, you must let me know when. I have to be there to take pictures. Heck…maybe I’ll even join you!
I’m doing this next time I go to Florida Mall. It looks like so much fun!
Courtney:
Yeah, I just discovered it yesterday. If I’d have known about it before I would’ve done a post on it…then you would’ve known about it earlier.
I’m actually considering going and trying it out sometime!
You know, I’m rather bummed that I didn’t know this existed, because if I had, this would’ve been way cooler than going to disney world! I could’ve spent a whole day in there.
